We had a great time at the Alabama Theater today seeing the Alabama Symphony perform. We enjoyed "Symphony in Space" and the tribute to the 40th anniversary of the first landing on the moon. Be sure to ask your child which musical piece and which instrument was their favorite.
A new student joined our class on Tuesday. We are very excited to welcome Bayley Thornton to SSC and to our classroom. Sadly, however, we will be saying goodbye to our friend, Cameron Ferguson, this Friday. We will miss you, Cameron, and wish you the best at your new school!
Please join us tomorrow night (Thursday) for Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A in the Galleria! Hopefully, we can have the highest attendance and win an ice cream party. Hope to see you there!
The Book Fair in our library is tomorrow and Friday only. If your child would like to order please send the Book Order form and money during these two days. Our Scholastic Book orders should be mailed to school by Friday or Monday.
Thanks for conferencing with me last week and Monday. I enjoyed having the opportunity to talk with you about your child.
